quick post-holiday update

I had a lot of time on my hands in Texas so I made my second-ever knitting project (first-ever gift!). I knitted a scarf for Rob. It is looooooong, black marbled with gray, garterstitch. Pretty easy, but I used small needles because I wanted a tighter weave.
I actually did take pics before I left, but am utterly exhausted and don't feel like getting the digicam right now and going through the process of downloading and posting them.
I will post pics though, I promise!
Rob has also asked for a matching hat and gloves, neither of which I know how to knit yet. But I promised him that I would make him a matching set once I figure that out.
